I Record 02:43
Ever since i was 13 I've been writing songs In the solitude of my room I expand my thoughts through words Shit happens to me But instead of storing memory I put it all down in a power chord Call it destiny in a melody And with my lo-fi technology I press the button and I’m out of misery But my mom and dad keep on telling me That is wrong And loud And worst of all I’m getting too old But without accord I record Roll the tape and make it good Hit it hard, it's understood Funky rhymes will tell yer story Fill this bunker with true glory My old records show that I’ve been slightly Out of key And I’ll never really make it in no Industry Still I’ve been hoping somewhat Secretly I can make it out there in the world Even if without accord I record I record Overdub Overlay Super impose I propose That without accord I record That without accord I record

He was the only son The only son who thought he was the one He once took a liberty check He left town when there was nothing to expect There's nothing new under the sun Never mind the dream, the sin, the promised win Never mind the change, the rage, the out of sync stage Never mind the sighs, the signs, never mind the white lies 'Cause he said he won't miss the start And after that he never turned his heart And as he was walking away His childhood was grounded to stay Never mind the dream, the win, the unspoken sin Never mind the maze, the haze, the out of sync phase Never mind the tries, the cries, never mind the white nights Never mind the love, the fault, and all that's left untold But he was the only one The only one who once had a plan I sometimes wonder if that plan's still on But probably like always i am wrong It's been too long Too long Too long

Harlequin 02:49
Got no respect or tuition Facing the meaning of life Wearing wet paint on my face Living a life in disguise Everyone thinks they're a star Nobody fails in their spotlight I won't remind you of me 'Cause I'm just some set prop in primetime Got to the city Wild heart beating There for a lifetime A harlequin Harlequin is gonna howl Harlequin is travelling low With a harlequin dream With a harlequin dream Got to believe in yourself Money and crown So that the barrel of hopes Don't go spilling around Under the blind lights I'm just a harlequin Never realize It's all a wasted dream But people need to look down To the harlequin Harlequin is gonna howl Keep the mysteries inside out It's just a harlequin dream Just a harlequin dream

Lo-Down City 02:54
Creeping in from behind in the city This crazy world will get to you Will spit you out like some bad aspirin Don't you have some stuff to do? Warning signs will ignite in the darkness Never cease to poke you through Tumbling dice thrown away by a mad man On the sidewalk get you glued It's a lo-down sunshine Failing circuit, money crime And you run and you hide on and off Will it ever bring a definite resolve? How come you never step on the wire? You have killed the most inner desire A lo-down razor mind Be the circuit, forget time Cut the crap, you never smile You sometimes think 'bout committing Suicide Don't you tell me you don't Don't you tell me you don't Don't you tell me you never Don't you tell me you won't Don't you tell me you're fine Don't you tell me you're fine Don't you know that you're mine And now you're on my time It's my city, I tell ya My city, I tell ya Don't you worry, fella My city won't fail ya It's the ride of your life It's not free, it's not right But at least my ride makes yer Pride feel alive I tell ya I tell ya A lo-down sunshine Failing circuit, out of time Come with me I'll blow your Whole world Out of sight I tell ya I tell ya I tell ya I tell ya

Roll the tape Make it good Hit that right note Stay in tune Keep some groove Words will come And words will fly away In this room i found a place To keep them safe There's no reason to be sorry Time evaporates And no matter what i do I become my age My age I built my world Out of tape The songs aren't clean There are mistakes I'm not that great It's no big deal If there's no big love for real There's love in songs for sure The tape will hold the fear There's no reason to be worried While I record away And if one day life passes me There will be one grand way To play Lock the door/remove the shelf Open the case/undo the safe Break the glass/silence please Reveal the truth/behind the scenes There's a button in my room Connected to the central stations Once you press it there's no way back It erases all the failures With no big boom And no big deal at all Just some static Without panic I'll record no more There's no reason to be sorry Time evaporates And no matter what you do You become your age Paper burns And tape will burn as well No big deal Without big love No recall No new chord And no strange thought To solve Ever since I was thirteen, I’ve been writing songs In the solitude of my room I expand my thoughts through words Shit happens to me But instead of destiny All I ever had was a power chord But I guess that now I’m much too old And to all my lo-fi technology There's a button in my room Connected to the central stations Once you press it there's no way back It erases all the failures There's a button in my room Connected to the central stations Once you press it there's no way back It erases all the failures With no big boom And no big deal at all Just some static Without panic I'll record no more

There's a door, lighted wall You come in, enter with the flow And you're on, you calm down But all the dreams are gone There's a voice within you That makes you feel untrue There's a mic on the floor You always wanted To reach out and grab it while All the lights will light up heaven Be yourself in front of everyone There's no reason to be shameful Because that's just who you are (a star) That's your life Just as long As you don't Press that button There are signs on your wall Don't you know? They make you feel unwanted You've been gone, too alone You changed your life too much Not a saint, but the same You've lost your inner meaning "You will find, now you're mine" She said with brown eyes "Silly hours in a silent night I'm the one who will ignite the light Gotta love you, but I gotta lie There's no other way to make you happy Don't you worry It's just something new And everyone has a second nature too Gotta make it right tonight Fire bright Cause i feel That you will Press that button And in my mind i Can see the light And on that night The stars lost their sight And if forgiveness Still falls from the sky I can't hear its music Redemption is blind But there's no reason to be sorry Inventory wise All I’m missing is a lighter The fall is on its rise Paper burns and tape will burn as well And all these tapes now have to go to hell Playing live is not my life No more signs, no more tries I gotta stop The lies There's a button in your room Connected to the central stations Once you press it there's no way back It erases all your failures There's a button in my room Connected to the central stations Once I press it there's no way back It erases all the failures

As I follow my dream I never get clean The years -- lost and found No one wins this round And my story's not straight I might be too late I've been running 'cross the wild I fear I’ve lost my mind But you can find Another state of mind Don't you know that you can find Inside The perfect state of mind Nobody wins tonight Nobody wins tonight Nobody wins tonight Don't you let her steal this fight Nobody wins tonight Without accord you record And someday when you're old You'll remember one song One song that was truly gold This means only one thing You faced the music You faced the music (This is what you'll have) Tapes die in time (This is what you'll have) My songs never shine (This is what you'll get) That's how I hide But I’ve missed my ride (This is all I have) You've had it all along (This is all I have) That lighter only showed (This is all I have) The way to your soul is a (This is all) Song If you'll just face the music If you'll just face the music Inside Once you could see Good things could be free Once you could trust That those words would last Once you couldn't start a fire (Don't be afraid) Once you couldn't be a liar (Life's not over yet) Once you could smile (Once you couldn't get out on the street) Once you could rewind Once you were tough (You shouldn't be afraid) Once you showed signs of life (It's not over yet) Once you could dream and rhyme (Once you were just a dead beat) You could write Come back to me Come back to me Isn't This what You want? Face the music Be a star Don't you know That's who you are? Think about it There's no sin Don't ask questions Let's begin And i could find (Face the music/be a star) Another state of mind (Don't you know/that's who you are) Do you think that I could find (Face the music/be a star) Tonight Another state of mind (Don't you know/that's who you are) Face the music Be a star Don't you see that's Who you are? Think about it There's no sin Don't ask questions Let's begin I guess (Face the music/you're a star) I might (Don't you see that's/who you are) Find Another state of mind (Face the music/you're a star) I guess (Don't you see that's/who you are) I might Find Another state of mind (Who you are) Another state of mind (Who you are) Another state of mind (You are) (ACT I/DISC I FINALE)
